Tokenization Process

The tokenization of real estate assets onto the Ethereum blockchain is accomplished through the deployment of an ERC-721 smart contract. The ERC-721 standard serves as the perfect foundation for tokenizing individual real estate properties. Each tokenized property is represented as a unique, non-fungible token (NFT), encapsulating the distinct characteristics and value of the real-world asset.

To democratize investment and enhance liquidity, each ERC-721 tokenized property is further fractionalized into ERC-20 tokens. The ERC-20 standard, renowned for its flexibility and widespread adoption, allows for the creation of fungible tokens. These tokens represent fractional ownership stakes in the property, enabling investors to purchase as much or as little as they desire, based on their investment capacity.
